I had my first weekend of family fall mini sessions and it was SO GOOD! We had the best weather, the most gorgeous location, and I got to catch up with some of my favorite families! That last photo is a pretty epic “the true reality of family photos” moment, haha! No worries though, we got some smiles too!
I only offer family sessions once or twice a year - I always do Fall Mini Sessions in October but sometimes I also do them in the spring or summer. This is the only time I do family photography sessions! My schedule is filled with newborn, baby and maternity sessions (which are my speciality and what I devote my time to), so I just don’t have a lot of room in my schedule to offer family sessions on a regular basis. This is my way of staying connected with all of my awesome clients! I especially love getting to watch my newborn clients grow up over the years. Many. of my past newborn clients are now 6, 7, 8, 9+ years old and it is THE BEST thing when I get to see them again for fall mini sessions!
Family Fall Mini Sessions take place at a beautiful outdoor location - I always try to pick a spot that has beautiful fall colors and foliage! Mini Sessions are done on one day and are scheduled back-t0-back in 20 minute increments, approximately 1-2 hours before sunset. I always offer my newsletter subscribers the first chance at booking mini sessions, so I definitely suggest signing up for that so you don’t miss out! They tend to sell out pretty quickly!
